The Guys of MARK209
From Anderson, Indiana, singing tenor for MARK209 is Nathaniel Justice. Nate is a full voice tenor whose tones are excellent and reminiscent of the classic tenors and his vocal ability is unparalleled. His ability to connect with an audience and get the message of the song across is superb.
Nathaniel grew up on the tour buses of some of the premier groups of gospel music. His father, Greg, drove the bus for many in the Gaither organization including: The Gaither Vocal Band, The Martins, and many others. After high school, Nate spent many years performing at Cedar Point and for Disney. He also performed in various dance troupes and R&B troupes. Though Nate was successful as a performer, he knew his calling was in singing and presenting the gospel. In 2009, Nathaniel was offered the tenor position with The Mike LeFevre Quartet to replace Gus Gaches, who left the LeFevres to join Legacy Five.
Nate joined the group in August 2010 and has been vital ever since. His effervescent personality has made him a fan favorite. He is immediately loved by young and old alike.
In addition to singing tenor, Nathaniel has assumed the MC work for the group. His years of stage performing made this a natural fit.
Nate has a wonderful testimony and a sincere desire to see souls come to the Kingdom. Nathaniel is affectionately referred to as “Squirrel” by the guys in the band. He and his wife, Liz, live in the Nashville area where they are raising their first born Grayson Alexander. It is a wonderful time for him being a father, a husband, and the man God has called him to be.
